Station Power solutions are built around two standard battery configurations:

  • 120V for larger applications. Such as tourism ventures, small communities, remote operations, industrial and commercial-scale operations.
  • 48V for smaller applications, Such as single dwellings, ideal for an off grid home or small research station.

Station Power solutions utilise two topologies when customising a RAPS solution:

  • AC coupling
  • DC coupling

The combination and ratio of DC to AC coupling is dependent on the load profile and time of day electricity is consumed.

The diesel generator is another key component. It provides an alternative power source allowing the RAPS to manage peak loads. By combining a PV solar system and battery storage together with a generator, fuel saving can be significant.
